Who?
We are a growing group of friends & neighbors working together to feed local families! Basket Brigade volunteers buy baskets and fill them with lots of food, household items, toiletries, & fun stuff for kids. The baskets are then decorated like a gift!
Our Volunteers:
With our mission, we provide the opportunity for volunteers in Palm Beach County to come together to create an awesome Basket Brigade to feed many families in our community. These volunteers can contribute to those who need love, encouragement, joy, and inspiration, especially during the holiday season. We also provide these volunteers with opportunities to meet like-minded individuals in social settings outside the Brigade.
Why?
We believe in the notion that one small act of generosity on the part of one caring person can transform the lives of so many people. We feel that Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to give thanks and share with our neighbors.
When?
Saturday, November 19th is the delivery day for 2016!
Volunteers should arrive at 10:00 a.m. and get ready for an OUTSTANDING DAY!
